The reactions of countries having no test cap are coming because of restriction not to play in 2015 world cup by ICC. ICC has decided to play only 10 teams in next world cup.It is being seen that ICC has given this decision without doing any homework, and announced it before time. Now ICC has to face resistance against decision from non test paying country Ireland, who is famous in making upset during world cup competition. While other non test playing countries like Kenya are also going against this decision.
After end of 2011 World Cup session, ICC executive board members has given proposal for qualifying round in meeting, but it was strongly rejected by Bangla Desh and Zimbabwe. Both countries were forcing for the participation of only full members of ICC.
It is to be noticed that the participation of team’s more than average, heavy margin winning results against weak teams has disappointed the viewers as well as sponsorship is also being effected by these matches. One sided matches has also affected the beauty of the game. That is why; qualifying round decision was reversed by ICC. After Ireland, Scotland cricket board blamed that only the Bangladesh and Zimbabwe rights were considered.
In This Newly born situation, it may be remembered that the performance of Ireland team was much better than other small teams. It was only Ireland who has won 2 matches out of 6. Ireland has defeated strong English team in recently held ICC World cup tournament. Ireland has also won against Kenya by 5 wickets. Although Kenya and Holland was defeated by all their matches, but these teams can make good stand for them after playing number of matches.
Ireland and Canada has to bear big loss by this decision, these teams can provide a great pleasure of entertainment by their performance in coming ICC World cup tournament. A Way should be seemed for their participation in Next World Cup Context.
